Will eating sugar cause diabetes?

sugar.jpgThis is probably the most common misconception about diabetes. If you have diabetes, you do need to watch your sugar and carbohydrate intake to properly manage your blood sugar level. A registered dietitian can help. If you do not have diabetes, a diet high in sugar alone will not cause diabetes. Being overweight, and physically inactive are two of the main risk factors for type 2 diabetes.
