Gray water is non-industrial waste water from bathing, laundry and dishwashing. Reuse of gray water has become a sustainable method to conserve water. A significant portion of a total home’s water use can be gray water. Sometimes gray water is used for the garden or recycled to a use such as toilet flushing.
