How much of a time commitment is there to 4-H membership?

Your time commitment will vary based on the project you select and the activity level of your club.A 4-H horse club with barn time and weekend shows will require a much greater time commitment than a general club that is not involved in out of county activities.Clubs typically meet twice a month with meetings lasting approximately two hours. The completed 4-H project will represent several hours of work, but the hours will be spread throughout the school year.In addition, there are many activities and events on the county, district, and state level you may participate in.
