What is a 4-H club?

4-H club is a group of five or more youngsters, from two or more families, guided by one or more adult volunteer leaders. A club can be any size—from a small group of kids from one neighborhood to a larger club consisting of youth from all over the county.  They can choose to be a project club where everyone studies the same project such as horse or dog or they can be a general club where everybody chooses a different project and shares the knowledge they learn from their project with the group.
