Yes, we have a week long residential camp held at 4-H Camp Ocala in the Ocala National Forest. The campers leave Monday morning from the Pinellas County Extension aboard a charter bus and return Friday afternoon. We are on a rotating schedule with other counties for camp weeks during June and July. The week for next summer’s camp will be announced in September. We work hard to keep camp at a reasonable cost to our members. In 2008 the cost was $190, which included a camp t-shirt, and canteen. 4-H members even have the opportunity to bring their non-4-H friends to camp to experience the fun learning opportunities that 4-H has to offer. Pinellas County 4-H does not offer day camps.
