How can I volunteer at the Ochs 4-H Educational Center?

There are several opportunities to volunteer at the Ochs 4-H Educational Center. Most of the opportunities involve working directly with youth, so youth development must be an interest as much as conservation of natural resources and agriculture. The tasks include assisting youth with their garden, teaching mini-workshops, and mentoring.

We also need volunteers to perform maintenance tasks that do not require direct involvement with the youth. These tasks include mulching, weeding, irrigation system, and pruning.Ochs 4-H volunteers must undergo the same selection and screening process as all 4-H volunteers. If interested, please contact the 4-H Agent at the 4-H office at 4h@pinellascounty.org  to set up an interview.
