What is a 4-H exhibit?

An exhibit is a physical display of one aspect of the 4-H project. A person should be able to walk up to your exhibit and learn something without further explanation. For example a poster with pictures of different cat breeds would need to have at least a breed name to be an exhibit. To make it even better a description or short history of the breed could be added.
  • If your exhibit is going to be a poster it can be no larger that 14”x22”.
  • It is not a visual aid from your presentation; you will not be there to explain it so it must have more information.
  • Finally, the exhibit does not need to be a poster.
  • Some examples of non-poster exhibits are games, books, displays, models with labels and descriptions, and product samples with explanation of content and cost.
